Post P Dialog
A post-processor converts your toolpaths into the exact G-code (or other format) that your particular machine understands. This dialog manages the available post-processors and lets you choose the one to use.
Choosing a Post-Processor
The list shows the available post-processors, with your custom posts first followed by the built-in posts. Click a post to select it; when choosing a post for a machine, double-click it or click Select to confirm.
Adding Post-Processors
- Import — import a post-processor from a
.ppfile. - Download — download a post-processor from Vectric's cloud library.
Per-Post Actions
Right-click a post-processor for actions specific to it:
- View — show the contents of the post file.
- Changelog — show the post-processor's change log.
- Customize — make an editable custom copy of a built-in post.
- Open File Location — reveal a custom post's
.ppfile on disk. - Delete — remove a custom post, after confirmation.
Tip
View, Changelog and Customize apply to the built-in posts, while Open File Location and Delete apply to your own custom posts.
