VCarve Inlay Toolpath - Plug
When Editing the Plug part of a VCarve Inlay toolpath, you will be presented with a slightly different form from the original toolpath.
Many of these options will function in the same way as its Parent toolpath form, with the following exceptions.
Pocket Depth (D)
This option is Greyed out and is locked from the orignal generation of this toolpath. If you need to adjust this setting, you need to delete both parts of the Inlay toolpath and remake the VCarve Inlay.
Plug Stock (P)
This is the thickness of material which will be left on the back of the Plug , and is automatically derived from the Pocket Depth (D) + Glue Gap (G) and cannot be adjusted on its own.
If you are Pocketing the back of the plug off once the Inlay is Glued in and cannot reference Z Zero from the original Inlays Surface, then Set Z Zero to the back of the Plug, and create a Pocket toolpath with a Cut Depth equal to this Plug Stock (P) Value to remove the back of the Plug.
