Edit Image

Watch tutorial: How to Edit Bitmaps

Select the image you wish to edit, then click on the tool to activate it. The floating toolbar presents the available adjustments. Choose the adjustment you want and use its associated control to modify the image. ## Options

Brightness

Use the brightness slider to adjust the perceived brightness of the image. Moving the slider to the right increases the brightness, while moving it to the left decreases it.

Contrast

Use the contrast slider to adjust the contrast of the image, the difference between the light and dark areas. Moving the slider to the right increases the contrast, making light areas lighter and dark areas darker. Moving it to the left reduces the contrast, bringing the tones closer together.

Gamma

Use the gamma slider to adjust the gamma of the image.

Gamma adjustment alters the mid-tones of the image without significantly affecting the darkest and lightest areas, which can be useful for brightening or darkening detail without losing contrast at the extremes.

Fade Edges

You can use this tool to add a faded border to your image. Choose from having a rectangular, or circular border and adjust the fading value make the border wider or narrower

Invert Colours

This option inverts the colours of the image, so that dark colours become light and light colours become dark.

Grayscale

This option converts the image to grayscale, removing all colour so that the image is represented in shades of grey.
