Advanced Machining Module

The Advanced Machining Module is a paid add-on for Cut2D Pro

It adds the following additional functionality:

• The ability to import exported files from popular cabinetry software, and automatically nest and toolpath them
• Cutter compensation on profile toolpaths along a line
• Drill Bank support with a dedicated Drill Bank Toolpath

If you have a licence for the Advanced Machining Module then it can be installed by using the Help > Enter Licence Code menu item. Enter the licence code into the field. The Licensed To field does not need to be changed.

You will have to restart your software to enable the features.

The Cabinet Import feature allows you to quickly import an exported file from popular 3rd party cabinetry software. It will support the import of files from:

• CabinetParts Pro
• CabinetSense
• KCD
• Mozaik

You can also import cabinet files from other software using a Custom Mapping File.

Cutter compensation is a feature in CNC machining that automatically adjusts the tool path to account for the physical size of the cutting tool.

Provided that the post-processor has been configured correctly (see Post-Editing Guide ), then the advanced machining module will insert the correct left and right compensation moves into the output to allow cutter compensation to be used correctly in any Profile Toolpath where the option is turned on.

The Advanced Machining Module adds a new Drill Bank toolpath for supported machines.

The Drill Bank Toolpath creates a drilling toolpath that will use the drilling pattern of the drill bank.
