Material Settings Dialog

This dialog sets how the model surface is shaded in the 3D view — either a flat colour or a named material texture. It changes the appearance only; it does not affect the size of the job or where the toolpaths cut.

Choosing an Appearance

Pick an appearance from the drop-down list. Choose Solid Color and use the colour picker to set the colour, or choose one of the material textures. The change is applied immediately.
