Watch tutorial: How to Trim Vectors

The Trimming tool lets you remove unwanted sections of vectors. By hovering over a vector you can preview exactly which part will be deleted before committing to the trim.

Trimming a Vector

Hover the cursor over the vector you wish to trim. A pair of scissor icons will appear at the cursor to indicate that the section beneath it can be cut.

As you hover, the part of the vector that will be removed is shown as a dotted pink line. Move the cursor along the vector to update which section is highlighted.

When the dotted pink line covers the section you want to remove, click the Left Mouse Button to complete the trim. The highlighted section is deleted and the remainder of the vector is retained.
